ENSEMBLE HYPERION was formed in 1992. From its beginnings, working on the entire Argentine Tango repertoire, it took an active part in the shows of numerous Festivals and in events linked to the world of tango. Since its foundation, the Ensemble has worked with several bandoneonists, such as Luis Stazo, Juan Josè Mosalini sr, Daniel Binelli, Alfredo Marcucci, Josè Luis Betancor, Christian Gerber, and others. Thus artistic collaborations are born which lead the group towards a deep knowledge of tango, its language, its styles. With its music the ensemble accompanies several Tango shows on tour: the Show “Tangovivo” with Union Tanguera by Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, “Tango Metropolis” with Claudio Hoffmann and Daniel Binelli, “Tango Revoluccion” with the Cie de Gustavo Russo, Conceptango with the Company of Leo Calvelli & Eugenia, “TangObsesion” with the Compañia Leonardo Cuello, “Tango Nuevo” with Roberto Herrera, etc...
On these occasions he plays in the best halls of Italy and Europe and in the most important Tango Festivals (Paris, Tarbes, Berlin, London, Athens, Brussels, Sitges, Montpellier, Mallorca etc.). Hyperion maintains collaborations with soloists such as the famous singer Antonella Ruggiero, Luis Bacalov, Cristina Vilallonga, Silvia Lallana, Aureliano Marin, Franco Luciani, Cesar Angeleri. Hyperion's record production includes nine CDs: “Livin Tango” (1998) – “Boulevard Tango” (2000) – Corso Buenos Aires (2005) – Buenos Aires hora cero (2005) – Live in Paris (2008) – Contemporanea Tango ( 2010) – Remebranzas (2014) – Tango 9 (2016) – “Hasta siempre amor” (2018).
